Two Gentlemen of Verona…
has come to an end.
Many stated along the way….
“You must’ve worked hard with Son #2.”
Or…
“Wow, you must know a lot of Shakespeare!”
In reality…
while both are certainly well meaning…
neither is true.
Leadership Education…
flourishes from a place of passion.
When we feed our passion…
we become inspiring.
When we’re inspiring…
we give off an energy…
that inspires others to their passion!
Just ask Preston Helms…
seen here with his mentor, Angela Ward
or Dr. Shanon Brooks….
who are both exemplifying these principles.
But what of beginnings…
and opportunities…
for personal growth and development?
Well…
this Director…
realized, as Oliver DeMille says…
‘…that often, it can be easier to talk about another’s educaton…
than it is to pursue your own.
Just make the commitment and lead out.
Be the lever that moves their world.”
When you lead with passion…
others flourish.
This Director…
and Producer of the Redlands Shakespeare Festival…
recognizes the potential in passion…
along with its ability to inspire others…
and has invited Preston…
to pursue the role of Catesby…
in Richard III…
at his independent theatre…
in Los Angeles, California…
for the month of June.
Am I excited?
Ecstatic, actually.
But what of my own passion…
that moves and inspires others?
Well…
I continue, as best I can…
to lead out.
I hope you will as well.
The world desperately needs leaders.
Listen to what these moms are saying…
about the opportunity…
to cultivate passion…
rather than simply utilizing skills.
“Dr. Brooks provides a breath of fresh air, regarding organic TJEd! Involved in the creation of it, and having used it with his own children as well as college students; he provides encouragement for the young and old, home educating moms that are searching for something greater for their children in regards to education and beyond. He is truly a great mind and I’m thankful for the opportunity to be mentored by him.” ~ Crissy
“Leadership Parenting with Dr Brooks was an easy, comfortable transition, into taking the time to focus on MY education; and has made me really start thinking about what I want to learn and how to get there instead of continuing to bemoan my lack of one! Online class was easy, even for this non-techie mom with a screaming toddler (mute buttons are great) running around. I loved being encouraged by moms that have been implementing TJEd for awhile, as well as hearing the fears of those just beginning. Dash over and sign up! You won’t be disappointed! After all… where else can you learn Tools of Leadership while wearing Smurf PJ pants?” ~ Melissa
“Thank you for all you do. Thank you for “introducing” us all to Dr. Brooks. Our “homeschool” experience would be a very sad thing without my mind being opened this way. My 4-year-old, not knowing what it meant, told someone we did “Leadership Education” when he was asked about going to school. Simple… not easy… for sure!” ~ Morgan
“After 21 years of private and public school experience, I gained a new perspective on the fundamental purpose of education, teaching and mentoring. I am interested in this approach and how it can empower my own child and the students I reach on a daily basis. I hope to continue to research this method and the benefits of Leadership Education.” ~Racquel
