What you wrote about my Grandpa brings tears to my eyes. He is always on my mind and in my heart these days. I want his legacy of love and outstanding character to be remembered by my children and so I started telling my son Rocky, "Grandpa stories." He now asks me regularly to hear stories about HIS Grandpa. Do I dare to hope to leave such a testimony to my children and grandchildren? I feel so blessed to have such shining examples, especially in my "Favorite Grandpa" who so lovingly called me his, "Favorite Granddaughter."

Thank you Teri. Yes, you are truly inspired. It's great to remember the virtue and merit of core phase especially on days when all three kids spend most of their day doing chores because of bad attitudes or bad choices and little academics are accomplished... reinforcing right from wrong, truth from error, good from bad is the most important part of their education. We have plenty of examples of powerful individuals who never experienced core phase.... Hitler, Stalin, Hussein to name a few. It appears that educating without core phase can be detrimental to everyone's health!!!

Beautifully written! Loved reading this. Inspiring. Caused me to think about my upbringing and the blessing of having my own 3 daughters to bring up. Thanks.
